Annual Conference
PSADA conducts an Annual Conference in March for its membership. This traditionally has been a four day conference, convening on Tuesday and concluding Friday afternoon. For the past several years, our conference has attracted over 500 athletic directors and members from across the Commonwealth and has been proud to host over 125 exhibitors representing all facets of the athletic and sporting goods business and industry. Our format for the conference has evolved from 1967 to the present and consists of the following:

Tuesday             Wednesday	* NIAAA Professional Development workshops including ASEP Coaching Education and strategies for new and experienced athletic directors * Executive Council Meeting *NIAAA Professional Development workshops *Conference Registration *First Time Attendees meeting *PIAA Current Issues
Thursday	* Keynote Speaker (informational/motivational) * Conference Awards Luncheon *Workshop Sessions * Cracker Barrel Sessions for A-AA-AAA-AAAA Schools; Junior High/Middle Schools, and College Sport Management Major *Exhibit Hall Social & Hospitality
Friday	* General Session Speaker * Mini-sessions on current issues in athletics * Delegate Assembly Meeting
	* Business Meeting Luncheon: Agenda consisting of Committee Reports, Conference Evaluation and Conference Survey for next year

 

The Executive Council which consists of representatives from each of the PIAA districts meets in July and October to plan the annual conference. The Executive Board continues to meet to finalize all of the plans and arrangements for the conference as well as conducting the business of the organization.
